| Description |
The children attending elementary school in Orland Grade School District 135 in 1914. The class is pictured standing on the front steps of the schoolhouse located on the south side of 143rd Street near Beacon Avenue. The teacher of grades 1 through 4 (front) was Miss Reimann (halfway down) and the teacher of grades 5 through 8 (back) was Miss Delaney (in back). There are about 45 children pictured. |
