Description A large group of farmers joing together at the farm of John Cooper to form a threshing gang. This was a common way to bring in the crops - the farmers would help each other in turn, thereby creating an effective workforce. Their payment would be dinner and the promise of return help. Pictured from the left are a engine-powered tractor, a horse-drawn wagon, a threshing outfit, a wagon, and a hay pile. A large barn with two cupolas stands in the right background.
