Description 
A World War I Flag Raising and Bond Drive to help finance the American war effort in France. The rally was held in the parking lot located across the street from Schmaedeke's Implement Store at the corner of 143rd Street and Beacon Avenue (what is now the 143rd Street Metra station. A man on a white horse bearing the Bond Drive flag leads the parade followed by decorated automobiles. One automobile is an Overland model. The Village Hall and Fire Station are visible in the center behind the parade. The parade is headed north on Becon Avenue.
