A painting from the Columbian Exposition. Columbus stepping on to the new world. Columbus is holding a flag and sword. He is followed by his men coming off the boat. Native Americans stand before him. The painting belonged to Maurice Hickey, the maternal grandfather of Lucille Schutte. |
