| Description |
This Depression-era photograph is of a float in the NRA (National Releif Administration) Parade of circa 1930. The theme of the parade was "Spirit of Progress." The float is decorated with red, white, and blue, and circles with the NRA eagle. Uncle Sam is at one side, Columbia is at the other side. Robert Toelle is Uncle Sam and Pat O'Laughlin is Columbia. The words "We Do Our Part" are on the NRA flags. |
