| Description |
In 1918, Orland's water tower located on the east side of Beacon Avenue near 144th Street suddenly collapsed and flooded Beacon Avenue. In this photograph, five men are working on the pile of wood that is the remains of the collapsed tower. Two small buildings are pictured to the right. |
