| Description |
In 1918, Orland's water tower located on the east side of Beacon Avenue near 144th Street suddenly collapsed and flooded Beacon Avenue. In this photograph, the pile of wood and long iron columns are the remains of the collapsed tower. One man is pictured working on the pile. |
